It was then, while everything was wrapped in a gentle silence, and half a night had already passed,
For while all things were in quiet silence, and the night was in the midst of her course,
The short night was half over, and all was quiet and peaceful,
For when peaceful stillness encompassed everything and the night in its swift course was half spent,
For when profound silence encompassed all things and the night was at midpoint in its swift course,
For while gentle silence enveloped all things, and night in its swift course was now half gone,
For while gentle silence enveloped all things, and night in its swift course was now half gone,
